1. Bardufoss Airport
1h 40min drive, no ferries. There is a airport buss going from Bardufoss to Finnsnes on every arrival (1h from the lodge).
2. Tromsø Airport
2h drive, included one ferry.

Your going from “Brensholmen” ferry stop (1h drive from Tromsø) to “Botnhamn” ferry stop (Senja side).
Please keep in mind that this is the Arctic, and bad weather can occur. We recommend also checking the ferry times links before driving from Tromsø, to make sure the ferry is on schedule for your day.

Note: Its also possible to drive without the ferry. You then drive Tromsø->Finnsnes->Fjordgård.
3. Harstad/Narvik (Evenes) Airport
3h30 min drive, no ferries.

There is a number of car rental companies on each airport.
If flying please consider to carbon offset your flight!

By boat:
1. Express boat from Tromsø to Lysnes (Senja)
43 min. Only goes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

There is not a restaurant at the lodge, but we got a fully equipped kitchen available for all guests to use.
There is several different options for coffee: a coffee maker, press-jug, chemex and a coffee grinder.

200m from the lodge (same street) there is a local grocery called Snarkjøp. Its self service and open 24/7.

There is also a small restaurant in the village called Segla Grill, serving fast food such as hamburgers, fish n chips etc. They have limited opening hours, specially in winter (somedays closed, somedays open from 5-7pm).

The Northern Lights is visible in Senja from late August to early April.

We got a work-desk corner, and highspeed wi-fi.
